Its time for a Merge, but, the producers love exposing a player who posseses a Fake immunity Idol, and thinks they are secure.

Taj is great, but, I cant believe once again, she leaves the idol in her purse and its found by another tribe member? She almost deserved to be bounced for that calamity.

And Stephen almost ruined the secret alliance, once Sierra and the others found out he had betrayed Taj, he would have been toast. But in the end, everything worked out for the best. And JT is also on board, he seems like a nice guy.

The biggest mystery is what will the producers do to alter the game and take control away from the players. I think they might hold the merge off one more week, as their best shot of changing the strong course thats in motion.

I was glad Sydney got voted off, not that I really had anything against her. I just think that was the best move for the tribe going into a merge.

Grantz, I thought the idol was in the guy's (I can't think of his name, at the moment. The guy Taj made an alliance with...J.T.'s good friend.) anyway, I thought the idol was in his bag.) I'm taking your word for it...I was sleepy when I watched it. I really like JT, too. (I need to go back and watch it again.)

wren, I felt the same way. I was glad how it played out. I have nothing against Sydney; I just want to see how all these alliances and idols/fake or real play out.

Hi BeachBarbie, Taj had given the Idol to Stephen for a while. But after JT found the Idol in Taj's bag he went and told Stephen, who in turn told Taj that the idol had been found in her bag.

I think if JT found the Idol in Stephen's possession, he would have told Taj first instead of Stephen.

Did anybody else see JT go to Stephen and tell him that he found the Idol in Taj's bag?? It is possible I got that mixed up.

Either way, is was very dumb to leave the Idol to be found so easily.

Yeah, JT told Stephen she had the idol. I thought Stephen did a good job at covering that he knew.
I agree, it was so dumb not to bury the idol.

I am glad JT is in the mix, too.. and glad they didn't vote Taj off because I can't wait to see what happens when they merge.

I think she was smart for making a fake idol so the other dude on the tribe doesn't suspect anything, however.. they never showed the other tribe doing that.. I wonder if they will pull Erin into the alliance once she realizes someone already found the idol!?

I agree, I believe JT and Stephen spoke first about JT's discovery.
But Stephen in turn told Taj that JT found it. Then Taj told JT about it, and he confessed he had seen it earlier.
I'm on fuzzy on the rules now, she decided to put it in Stephens pants for safe keeping, but she didn't give it to him, so its still hers?
I am happy that JT and Stephen didn't turn on Taj, only because, again, I like Taj, but it would have been an cool play.

As for Exile, why did they decide to send someone else to the island and give them access to all the clues? I understand they wanted to partake in a reward, I just thought stratigically it wasn't the smartest.
Better Sydney than Taj, but in all fairness, I don't think Syd got a fair edit. I have read that she was a lot more help at camp than shown, just not the flirt.
But she seemed so stupid at tribal, she couldn't even put a sentance together.
And her loyalty makes no difference at the merge the way things stand, because they are outnumbered!
Coach still remains the biggest douche ever to play the game, and I am including Johnny Fairplay.

I think that it's still Taj's.. unless someone jerks her out of it.. ya know, won't give it back. No one can STEAL the Idol from her, but if she gives it to someone, they can use it. I'm sure about specific scenarios though..
